Wise's fee is from its live price for USD to PHP on 15 Sep 2026. PayPal's are from its Philippines and India fee pages. Payoneer's bKash fee is from bKash, and its other fees are the commonly published rates, so check your account for the exact figures.

Which one should you use?

  • Bangladesh: Payoneer is the only one of the three that works. Withdraw in larger amounts to cut the $1 bKash fee, and see the Payoneer to bKash calculator for cash-out costs.
  • Pakistan: Payoneer, withdrawing to your bank. Wise can only send money from Pakistan, and PayPal isn't available.
  • Philippines: Wise is usually cheapest for direct clients. Payoneer suits marketplace payouts, and PayPal is the most expensive for business payments.
  • India: Payoneer usually leaves you more than PayPal, whose 4.4% plus 3% conversion adds up. Wise account details aren't available to individuals.

Is Wise available in Bangladesh?

Not for receiving payments. Bangladesh residents can't open a Wise account or get USD account details. Wise can only be used by people abroad to send taka to Bangladesh.

Does PayPal work in Bangladesh or Pakistan?

No. PayPal doesn't operate for residents of Bangladesh or Pakistan, so freelancers there can't receive payments with it. Payoneer is the usual alternative.

Which is cheapest for freelancers in the Philippines?

For clients who pay by bank transfer, Wise is usually cheapest: receiving USD by ACH is free and converting to pesos costs about 0.5%. Payoneer costs about 3% in total, and PayPal costs about 8% (4.4% plus a fixed fee to receive, then 4% to convert).
