Who we are
TakeHome (takehometools.com) is a free set of money calculators for freelancers, built and run by an independent web developer. If you have a question about this policy, email [email protected].
What stays on your device
- Everything you type into a calculator. The numbers are processed in your browser and never sent to us.
- Your numbers in the page address. Each calculator puts your inputs in the address bar so you can bookmark or share a result. If you share that link, anyone who opens it sees those numbers.
- The exchange rate. The Payoneer to bKash calculator saves the latest rate in your browser's local storage for up to an hour, so it doesn't have to download it again. You can clear it by clearing your browser's site data.
What we collect
- Visitor statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies or track you across other websites. We see totals like page views, which site sent visitors, their country, and device type. We can't identify you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Technical data needed to run the site. Cloudflare hosts this site and handles technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them when they're no longer needed.
Other services the site connects to
To show today's rate, the Payoneer to bKash calculator requests it from ExchangeRate-API directly from your browser. Like any website you visit, that service receives your IP address. No calculator inputs are sent to it.
Cookies
We don't set any cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to check that a visitor isn't a bot. It isn't used for tracking or advertising.
Advertising and referral links
This site shows no ads and has no referral links today. If we add them, for example Google AdSense ads or a Payoneer referral link, we'll update this policy before they go live, say which companies are involved, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Children
This site is meant for working freelancers and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
We don't keep a profile of you, so there's nothing to download or delete apart from emails you've sent us. To have those deleted, email [email protected].
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For important changes, such as adding ads, we'll also put a notice on the home page.
